Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) told NBC last weekend he will skip the Trump inauguration because he doesn’t see the president-elect as a “legitimate president.”
“I don’t plan to attend inauguration. It will be the first one I miss since I’ve been in Congress,” Lewis blatantly lied.
Not true, Mr. Lewis, not true at all. Why lie about something so easy to verify?
As noted in the Washington Post on January 21, 2001, Representative John Lewis (D) stayed home in Atlanta to boycott the inauguration of George W. Bush because, you guessed it, he didn’t consider Bush to be the legimately elected president.
What a hack!
